@Lux, I still hate what they did with the Robb/Cat arc in S2. WTF was the point there? Why not simply have both hear the false news of dead Bran/Rickon and go batshit with grief, then get married/release the Kingslayer? Seriously, I have yet to hear a satisfactory explanation for this change. They made both characters

'and a chain and keep are nothing compared to a woman's kiss!'

after he smoked it out of its cave using some batshit prop that no one would ever think of (hairspray?).

and the turtles, god love us. the sodding turtles!!!!

word. which is why you should watch spartacus. apart from being a (surprisingly) brilliant show, it definitely has equalopportunitysexytimes aplenty. sigh. miss that piece of bloody brilliance.

i just realized all stoner tropes are complete bollocks. i smoke on a daily basis. yet i'm a violent borderline sociopath, with nary a trace of goofy affability in my makeup. i call bullshit, yo.

gah. the hand was brutal. just brutal. thought i was ready but no. can't wait for the handless ser jaime arc to begin!

i want to see this lot in other roles.  seems a waste to have them fade away after such an epic show.

seriously. it was nightmarish watching characters we love getting crucified and gutted and stabbed… horribly sad.

do let the door smack your arse on the way out, dear.

yup. the sky clouds over and it starts raining gently. that slayed me. i was in tears then. the bringer of rain indeed.

i marathoned all 3 seasons just before this one started and i tell you, it's a fantastic fucking experience. complete immersion. it's disconcerting getting up after and realizing that no, people don't actually talk like shakespeare+swearing; and men don't simply wander around looking like gods in subligaria!

what a masterful end to an incredible show. brutal, beautiful and heart-wrenching. it was perfect, and i shed many tears. i shall miss this show beyond the telling of it.

god, already suffering major withdrawal. there's just no other show like this. everything else seems rather… tame. even stuff i'm a fanatic about (got). sigh.

seconded.

god, this fucking show. it shall be mourned. like so many have said, this is the only show that makes me scream and sob and laugh like a mad fuck. it's been an epic ride, so satisfying in every way.

my heart left this show the instant crixus's head was severed from shoulders. the aftermath seems but pale imitation of past glories.

yes, that he is. his mad bloodlust comes off as rather hot and something worth aspiring to; yet such a man would likely strike head from shoulders in an instant, should we have the(mis) fortune to face him upon a day.

agreed about tiberius; yet i can see how the backstabbing cunt just got lucky. crixus wasn't smart enough to win though, was he? i felt the sense of doom hung heavy over him the entire episode. i knew he'd fail, and grandly (and not just because of, you know, giant history spoilers).

what a brilliant, heartbreaking episode. crixus was magnificent, and when i think of his entire arc through gods of the arena till separate paths, it's been bloody (!) epic.
