@Aymanut, Yeah, I agree, he's certainly a bigger asshole than he is a misogynistic pig.  Actually, I was just trying to back up Brass Tax, and completely agree with the statement made by him: "People dislike him because he is an asshole on the show, and comes off as rather misogynistic."  Is he truly misogynistic?

Exactly!  Rachel and Brendon skipping the fast forward actually helped to level out the playing field, and Art and JJ complain about their inability to properly play the game.  What the hell do you want guys?  Will ANYTHING make you happy?!!  For fuck's sake, SHUT UP!!  If Rachel and Brendon died in a freak bus

But in all fairness to Vanessa, she has one of the most amazing racks in the history of Amazing Race contestants.

Go Ralph and Vanessa!  You're the only thing even resembling a likeable team, although I've always been rooting for them.  Her excitement over the elephant?  Come on!!  That's what we need to see more of in this race instead of constant bickering and bitching, which Vanessa was guilty of by episode's end (and

I prayed this was the case.  I knew in the back of my mind that Mark and Bopper were so far behind due to the uber-late start that Art and JJ pretty much had it made, but still the editors kept giving me little bits of hope.  And then Art said JJ was "acting like a little bitch," and that made me so damn happy,

"YEAH! YES!!!  THAT'S WHY YOU LISTEN TO YOUR FREAKIN' HUSBAND!!!"  That could be part of the whole "Dave is a misogynistic asshole" thing.

Ralph and Vanessa are still my favorite team here, and I'm actively rooting for them.  They're just out there having a good time, maybe talking some smack about Team Big Brother, but seriously, who wouldn't be in their situation?  Aside from a few fights here and there, they seem pretty level-headed, if not the

It's getting to the point where I believe J.J. is one of the most obnoxious players in the history of this show.  I can't stand listening to him bitch and moan about the most trivial things, getting on Art's case for not immediately accomplishing a task when the previous one took him hours, whining Art's name

Booby Vanessa.  Thank you for that.

Best line of the night (and delivery) goes to Brendon:
Rachel: Can we drink this water?
Brendon:  No. (Two-beat pause.) Don't.

They at least made out during their carefree training and schooling days, I don't even question it at this point.

Art? Art. Art! Art!! ART!!!!  Shut the fuck up, JJ!  Shut up!!
However, when Art referred to JJ as his "lion" and then started poking him repeatedly…well, something tells me the lion rarely gets much sleep in their mighty jungle.  I kid.  Art and JJ, I hate you.

I do have to admit that even the extremely ridiculous jokes, like Thor and the colors, made me laugh pretty hard, so I do have to give credit to Stillman, because in lesser hands it would have been brutal.  And the idea that frat guys shouldn't be considered elitist because they're morons is, well, borderline genius.

Saw "Damsels in Distress" yesterday afternoon.  Picked it because I thought it was something my girlfriend would enjoy (she humors me by letting me pick whenever we see the "artsy" films, as she calls them), and she HATED it.  I enjoyed it more than she did, but I'm still on the fence.  I laughed quite a bit, but I

Saw this the other night and I have to say I had a blast.  Yeah, it's cheesy and stupid, and the CGI is rather embarrassing at parts (a motorcycle chase at the beginning has to be seen to be believed, it looks like a horribly animated video game circa 1985), but Guy Pearce pulled off the cocky/sarcastic/reluctant hero

I'm still going to defend Ralph and Vanessa.  Yeah, she's catty, and can be a bit whiny, but it honestly seems like the two of them are running the race to actually enjoy themselves and win it.  For the most part, they have shown that when it comes to getting a task done, even when it looks as though they're sunk,

Perhaps Jamie should stop talking shit about how their agency is better than Border Patrol considering she, as an agent, accidentally shot herself in the femur.  Smooth move.  Of course, I imagine it's difficult for Art and JJ to do their job effectively if they are on some sort of stealth mission with JJ screaming

I just like the irony that their cover was blown by talking about undercover operations.  This is how terrible they are at it.

I was waiting for someone to bring up Taxi Driver.  As Black Orpheus said, Schrader especially is very vocal about the ending and how it is real and not a fantasy.  But, man, do I hate that ending.  HATE it.  I love the movie, but the ending feels like a studio-mandated re-shoot.

I never thought about it, but seriously, The Conversation and Martha Marcy May Marlene have the exact same ending with the same implications.  I knew something was familiar about it!
