It'd be sooooo ironic if he killed Mance Rayder.

I found that scene pretty disarming, I might say.

So you're saying he's related to Hodor?

I loved that Elizabeth entered into travel agent mode.

Sure, but that's not gonna happen for another decade. He's gonna be stuck lecturing KGB recruits while living in a tiny apartment, enjoying his weekly vodka rations. Also, racism.

For some reason the production design of Children of Men reminded me a lot of Half-Life 2. The immigrant camp at the end in particular had a strong City 17 vibe. They both were very lived in and were full of despair.

To this day my South African impression consists entirely of "FOOKIN' PRAWNS!"

It was Rated R for graphic depictions of prawn torture.

First swords, now crossbows. I wonder what's the next weapon they're gonna use as a phallic symbol.

Leaving Woodbury doesn't really make sense story-wise because of it's advantages over the prison. I'm thinking it must be budgetary reasons, cutting down on shooting locations etc.

This is true. What's he and his two goons gonna do? They couldn't take the prison with an army. Are they even worthy of being scared of?

He wasn't actually zombified, just sleepwalking.

Yeah I guess this just means that Merle really helped out when he took out 8 soldiers in the last episode. The ratio of experienced fighters and recruits was too imbalanced.

Right for all they knew the militia could have returned and the prison group would have one fewer trick up their sleeve.

Their lack of fighting spirit was perfectly matched by Glenn and Maggie's inability to hit any of them, despite the fact that the Woodbury-ians were pretty much making a straight beeline for the trucks. The whole "we won" bit was all kinds of silly.

Right and it's not like Glenn and Maggie hit anyone with all their shooting. And then they decide to go to Woodbury to "finish them off'? For all they knew the governor still had an army in a defensible position. Terrible logic.

Yeah, Carl was right on all counts. Finally someone on the show told Rick to his face what a terrible leader he's been.

You had me at flaming Velociraptor.

If Gimple changed the scene in order to kill Andrea, then I think the show's in good hands. He's already behind the better episodes of the show.

Yeah that prison "battle" was all sorts of anti-climactic. I actually snickered when before getting gunned down by the guv, one of the Woodbury citizens said, "It was a slaughter!" Umm, no one getting killed except for kid running in the woods does not count as slaughter. And congrats to Glenn and Maggie for shooting
