I like how the reports of Rhaegar being a crazy kidnapper and rapist (as described by both Robert Baratheon in Season 1 and Sansa is this season) don't jibe with the personal recollections Morment and Selmy of Rhaegar as noble and deeply sensitive. It shouldn't be hard for the newbies to pick up on that.

For me personally, watching a graphic rape scene on screen is (more often than not) a much more visceral and upsetting experience than reading about one. And yes, I do feel more of an emotional connection to a character that I've been following over the course of several books and several seasons than a paper cut-out

She wouldn't be the wife he wants or needs, but certainly the one he deserves.

Amen to that. She sucked all the air out of the room.

The lingering shot of the women at Winterfell focused on Ramsay's lover, the one who is his partner in sadism and chased that poor girl through the forest shooting arrows at her. She didn't seem too pleased by Sansa's arrival.

That search history in a partner's phone would make breathe a sigh of relief. "Big boobs? Oh thank god, he's not a dog fucker or a pederast."

My parents actually threw a party with their friends to watch all the Amy Fisher movies together. At 12 years old, I was very disturbed to see the daughter from Who's The Boss trying to seduce a married guido mechanic.

I always knew that my aunt was watching a Lifetime movie when I would hear her yelling at the screen, "Leave Him! Take the kids and GO!"

Wealth privilege, on the other hand, is truly timeless.

Lets be fair: a bad marriage and certainly a divorce brings out the absolute worst in even the best of people.

I think it's pretty obvious that Marie is projecting her unhappiness with her own marriage on to Don. And it's clear that they didn't have an open marriage… Marie and the Professor were constantly arguing about his affairs with students and Marie clearly took up with Roger (at least at first) as an act of revenge.

Don Draper had his most clueless, self-absorbed, tone-deaf moment in last night's episode:

This show does a great job of demonstrating, in just a couple lines, how well all these characters know each other and see through each other's bullshit, which is especially poignant considering that they're in the business of charming people with first impressions.

… which, boys and girls, is why Normandy is called Normandy. :-)

And I will read it!

You've been on /r/relationships, haven't you?

Are you kidding? That's such a metal-sounding last name!

If Don and Peggy end up together, I will write a sternly written letter to the network on watermarked stationary.

No. I'll bet you could pick any other band you've never even heard of with a name that starts with a Z and it is better than Zwan.

I know taste is objective but best rock album on 00s?
