I don't actually think the show loses that much steam after season 3, season 4 and 5 are both great imo and season 7 was actually pretty good. Seasons 6,8, and 9 are kinda weak but better than people give them credit for.

How do you guys rank the seasons? For me it goes 3,2,4,5,1,7,6,9,8
