I thought they were going to fire Harry and that was his severance, too. He seemed kind of underwhelmed about getting a bonus check that was more then he makes in a year.

I liked Peggy's pitch, too. It was loads better then SCDP's. Clients always want their logo and/or product bigger and her "imagine this 40 feet high in Times Square" was probably much more appealing then Don's "let the viewer fill in the blank" option.

Stan probably won't say anything about where Peggy got wind of ketchup because he'd get in trouble for letting slip confidential info to the competition, even it was to his friend.

I really didn't like him when he was first introduced and couldn't believe they kept him on after the big layoff. But he's really grown on me and that scene was freaking hilarious.

No, JWT got it.

I think she feels more guilty about passing on information she got from her friend. He could get in huge trouble for that. But what did she think Ted was going to do? He didn't get to be a fairly young partner in an agency by baking cupcakes and passing out hugs. She knows better.

And more Ginsberg.

Did we talk about Don's "closet full" of Leicas? Maybe it was just the photography nerd in me, but I cried a little inside when he tossed it to the presumably wealthy doctor like it was nothing.

When the doctor is called away they say it's 1 AM. He gets into bed the sun was coming up. She didn't notice he was gone for hours?

Due to their rivalry, I always got the impression that Cutler, Gleason and Chaough was similar in size and scope to SCDP. I kind of liked Peggy being Don-like in the meeting with the client.

No kidding. I gave up on NYE when I was 20 and on the way out to a party I slipped on some ice and cracked my tailbone. I figured it was nature's way of telling me to stay home and sit down…on an inflatable donut.

Maybe I am just old, but what does "Ring for your mommy piece" mean?

It seems counterintuitive, but that's just what some women do there. Here are some pics from 2010 (they are not safe for life, so click at your own risk): http://www.buzzfeed.com/mjs…
