'Dame' hasn't really been a derogatory word for decades.

Alas rapidly-aging me, who realizes he saw this movie in college.

The real horror begins when you're forced to buy the DVD and see it on your TV, ad nauseum, for the next few years. 

In The Two Towers, Merry and Pip thumb through all the Ent scenes and poetry with exasperation while riding in Treebeard.

It's sadly hilarious how, in an enormous ensemble cast, Lennon seems to be the only one JUST unimportant enough to get left off all the cast lists on promo materials.

This quote made me laugh pretty hard, I'm happy it's getting some kudos.

I've heard her good buddy Benjamin Franklin is quite a persuasive fellow.

Unless those are all subsequent birthday parties, how in hell do you get dragged to crappy movies by a girl you're not dating?

Yeah, the more I think about it, the more anachronistic that Hitler idea was. We tend to assume 'well, it's set in the past, naturally they're still bashing Hitler'. But this was 20+ years after Hitler's death; what a weird reference to make in an ad.

The two that always pop into my head:

Man, what if the adjacent room was just filled with bored women from previous adventures (and some skeletons?)
