I can understand shutting something off after about 30 minutes. It's gotta be a torturous 30 minutes, though. I haven't done it too much, but with Netflix Instant it's become more common.

Ladies and gentlemen of the class of '97…
My fondest Pitchfork memory is their review of Tool's '10,00 Days'. Essentially they said it was OK, but not as impressive as 'Lateralus', the previous album.
While I love me some Strokes, sometimes they're just too hip for their own good. A lot of that is channeled through their art direction, which approaches Dadaism in its random nature.
I agree that First Impressions is better than Room on Fire. There was an inevitable crash in popularity when a band as huge as The Strokes stick around for long enough, and for me that hit right around the time Room on Fire came out.

I'm shocked this gets such a high grade. This film had one of those trailers that wasn't even worth giggling or bitching about.
Ahhhh, back pain is gone!
When I said 'Australia', I meant 'English Territories'.
That's funny, Memento was my first exposure to this guy (this Guy?), and I kept thinking 'man, he's a dead-ringer for that Wolverine dude'.
