I haven't read all of his short stories, but I really want to!

We have similar tastes, so: definitely read it. Get it from the library. Borrow it from a friend. It's not my favorite (as I said below), but it is SO WORTH IT.
Man oh man I want to see Satyagraha. I don't understand Philip Glass at all but boy am I willing to try!
Looking for you, I made my own post futher downthread! I'm having all sorts of disqus fail lately.
Which ones are your favorites? I love Gentlemen of the Road to no end. Reread The Mysteries of Pittsburgh last year and liked it MUCH better than right out of high school. I needed context for that post-college angst.
I would attend your church.
It always seemed kind of derogatory to me, but I'm a straight girl so maybe I just don't get to say it?
I hope someone is making a ridiculous-but-cheesy piece of "contemporary art" with them.
This weekend I listened to a lot of Top 40 songs on Youtube while procrastinating on job applications and household chores. I also watched an episode of "The Middle" from like two months ago. An exciting pop culture life, I lead.
I thought the first half of Kavalier and Clay was fantastic and the second half was a major let down. Don't want to go into why as that's spoilers! I love Chabon, but while it is certainly fantastic, I didn't think Kavalier was as good as some of his other ones.

She fights for her family's honor as much as for the kingdom. She has no interest in ruling or in princess glamour, which is a Western European…
I have a whole bunch of internet friends from Australia! That's so far away!!! And I am so broke and so are they. Alas.
WOW. I don't follow standup at all, but I'd have assumed it was Louis CK or Aziz Ansari. (Or, like, Seinfeld, but he's at another level.)
I'd actually pay to see that, though, and I don't pay for movies very often.
I like to quote the yoisthisracist tumblr here: Antonin Scalia is a racist toad.
Wow, is he really? Or is that a double-dose of sarcasm? I am confused.
I can absolutely imagine meeting some of my longstanding internet friends (and I hope I do so eventually), but the idea of meeting someone online to date just weirds me out. Not sure why. I guess I'm more comfortable oversharing platonically than romantically.
I'm thinking about getting it as well. Thanks so much.
Wow, all of this is relevant to *my* interests too! I'm going to be checking out these suggestions also, especially the books that I can find without JSTOR.
Heh, I don't have HBO either! I have generous friends. ;)
