I'm several weeks behind on fun with the Heck family, but I was both excited to see her getting other work and sad that we STILL haven't heard about next season…

And I like Louis C.K. a lot, but I think Mitchell and Webb at their strongest absolutely stacks up well against him.   Different styles of humor.

I suppose.  Again, we have tons and tons of crap television too.   You guys invented Big Brother and American Idol (Pop Idol), but we exploded reality television to the nth degree.

In literary snob/anglophilic circles, it's a given that you will obsess over British television, painting a rosy image of the Beeb.   Our only serious costume drama is Mad Men, and that's fantastic for other reasons.

In high school, I watched my favorite anime on YouTube in Japanese with Spanish subs, because that was what was available.  Also, it meant I could pretend that I was studying for class…

Nicholas Hoult appeared in one epsiode.   And it's also got Tom Hiddleston.

Off of the top of my head:

I'm not sure if I'll have time to get sucked in, but no judgment here.  I think I'm gonna love it too.

Not that I'm defending her snobbery, but a lot of people who have never been out of work don't understand how depressing and difficult it actually is to find work when you haven't had any in a while, horrific economy or not.

I'm still looking forward to watching this when I get a chance.  I like almost every single actor in this, especially Michael Angarano, who seems to have dropped off of the radar lately…

I like Jedward because I refuse to believe they're not an elaborate joke that someone set up to screw around with the media and teenage girls.

This comment is my favorite.

Anyone else read that piece in the New Yorker (I think it was the New Yorker?) a few months ago about how the Brits have been losing their shit over Scandinavian TV and culture for ages?   It made me want to watch Borgen just because I'm obsessed with THEIR television, so going up the ranks…

Man, even just reading the title "Once Upon A Time In Wonderland" makes me annoyed.  Lewis Carroll deserves better.

It is about 500 times better than its unfortunate name.

Damn it, Lurky, now I want to go watch those again!  And I have work to do!

Mary is a vaguely interesting character in terms of her firm refusal to acknowledge progress, but boy I don't care about her romantic adventures at all.

wouldn't it work better without including "RIP" in the comment itself?

I haven't gotten over hating Lena Dunham and I fucking love me some Vampire Weekend, but you're right, hatred of both often goes hand in hand.
