I wrote better poems for my 4th and 5th grade poetry units than I did in high school.  I have discovered that I am actually much better at prose fiction.

I decided to just say fuck it, and wait until Mad Men's season is over and marathon them at the end of the summer.  I just don't have time for a serious show right now.

But you have to be aware of that before you go in, or you'll be turned off right away!

@Scrawler2:disqus   Nerdfighters are fans of the YA novelist John Green and his brother Hank Green, who are YouTube famous.  We're talking fans in the millions.  They goof around and educate on science and literature and history and stuff occasionally.

I love that Ethel Beavers is part of the family guestbook because she's their adopted grandma now.

It's just as sophisticated as Gravity Falls, but with a different style of humor.  And it is beyond amazing how they can continue to refresh the formula and push it to the limits without straining credulity (hey, animation) or confusing the children it's ostensibily aimed at.
