I would guess that based on what Abed says. He probably doesn't like the whole socially dysfunctional but investigative genius thing (Asbergerish) that seems to be showing up more and more on TV. Though that's probably more descriptive of Sherlock.

He doesn't actually say anything, Kumail is telling him how good True Detective is and says 'I know you didn't like Hannibal, but this doesn't have the same problems you had with that show'

Ha, so Dan Harmon is actually not a fan of Hannibal. That's settled.
