It's def. not just Salon, but it's the same principle. There is a corner of the internet, absolutely on both political sides, that exists to write this kind of stuff. It's pretty over the top for people to complain about glorification of excess with this movie.

What you need to understand is that the writers of Salon magazine need to eat too. They have kids to feed.

Rick and Morty is so good. The plotting is outstanding, the world-building really unique and interesting, and oh yeah, it's fucking funny. This is the best new show of the 2013 season.
