Random question, but what was up with Troy's pronunciation of 'there' when he said 'I was putting my mug there' when Abed turned on the study table's special mode? He said it with a hard 'd' like in black vernacular. Thought it was a weird choice, Troy has never really spoken like that before.
I don't know if this is what you mean but I did like Profs. Chang and Guterman (?) in the lab coat together trying to make Jeff laugh.
What episodes has Jeff made the 'Winger Guarantee' in other than Pilot?
Ha, I delve into the legal grey area (black) of torrents and streaming all the time, but when something is actually available on Netflix Instant, that's really easier than anything else.
Probably easier if you just activated a Netflix Instant free trial. Or paid 7 bucks to use it for the next month….
The comment total on the new review seems a little light. Seems some of the interest on this site for the show has fallen off a tad, even from early season 3.
Jeff and Rhonda reminded me of his interactions with the Cafeteria Lady in Pilot.
Am I remembering incorrectly or did they style Britta's hair more like season 1 and 2 last night? Curly rather than straight?
Here's what Dan had to say :
From reading interviews with Dan, I think there will be a concerted effort to make Britta more of herself. She's still going to be dumb about things, but her defining characteristics will be back.
I thought Britta was mostly pretty good last night. Especially the joke about if they all had to say something, that was pretty classic Britta. Not a huge fan of that cell phone joke from the trailer.
That shot of Jeff walking down the hall in 'teacher mode' was great. Also liked the underlying season 1 music.
I'm sticking with him being in six episodes, that's what every other report said. It's much more likely that Joel just made a mistake with saying 7.
I also like what Sepinwall said in his review about how Buzz has some of the same purposes to Jeff as Pierce did, but in a way in which he's a completely different character.
' My hope is that part of his character's eventual departure will be about him having to strike out on his own and start working again on becoming his own person.'
You might find this long interview informative.
Todd gets pretty deep and personal in his Parenthood review
The addition of the Teacher's Lounge was a great add to the Greendale Mythology.
