I agree with a lot of your thoughts and I like that it's coming across in the media coverage and interviews that this season is a return to form, and not just season 3 form, but better.
Rick (who actually seems like the voice of Harmon in the show - anyone know how involved Dan actually is in the writing of the show?) makes it pretty clear in that episode that he thinks Inception is stupid.

Seeing as how today is the last calendar day that this review is relevant, I have a question.
On Vince Gilligan's role:
'I myself have used the example of Jeff coming back as a teacher as an example of what the show could be if it was bad, you know? [Laughs] I specifically alluded to that and said, "Oh, Jeff's not gonna grow a beard and become a teacher. Don't worry about that, because time moves on and blah, blah, blah." Obviously…

My condolences to Carlton, Will, Ashley, Hillary, and Vivian.

Can returning creator Dan Harmon fix what went awry during his one-year absence? And, for fans who weren't crazy about the Harmon-run third season, can the college comedy recapture the lighter pleasures of the first two years? Harmon has said the goal is to first focus on making the characters human again, and he'll…
Am I imagining this or was it mentioned in one of the dozen season 5 articles that one of the stories in an episode this season is how Britta went from the unattainable hot chick buzzkill she was season 1 to the total goofball she was in later seasons? Because that's pretty cool. Also I think that was a direct…
