He's been around. I don't keep up with the Green Lantern books but it's my understanding that they basically just kept on trucking through the New 52 without much of a continuity reset (not unlike Batman, who got to keep a ton of Robins despite the new shorter history). But I think the more complete Justice League (of

Killing himself is Zoom's kink.

And that's saying something, given this very episode had to hastily introduce a device that can (with the right power source) kill the multiverse not even a moment before it was needed for the plot.

I think it's safe to say setting multiple X-men movies in the '70s-'80s and prominently featuring Dazzler in neither of them is this franchise's greatest crime.

My argument is, if the point of the end of DoFP was supposed to be that the Sentinels will definitely eventually destroy the entire world, but they'll do so later on in the course of history now, that was not communicated well by the film at all.

"Time is immutable! Oh, our whole plot was about changing the future so there won't be a Sentinel armageddon? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯"

I thought it was maybe meant as a comment on how action movies constantly have bullets missing their target in heavily populated cities and somehow never hitting anyone/anything unrelated to the plot. Similar to Gosling punching glass like action heroes do but actually getting cut up like he would.

Was it irrational of me to get my hopes up that this: http://www.houseofspeakeasy… would be the article photo? Yes. Am I still disappointed that it wasn't? Of course.

Honest question: are there any podcast ads that are good if you don't already know/like the hosts?

I think "random guy from the future shows up to warn them of their imminent doom and says Mick sent him" works fine as a cliffhanger if you don't know who he is. He's basically filling the role of the Western Union man at the end of Back to the Future 2.* Nobody cares about that guy, but he has an interesting message

Aren't they Gilmore Women by now?

I'd love if they established the JSA as existing in multiple time periods. Some kind of Liberty Files WWII iteration, whatever (near?)future version Rex is from, a farther future version that has the android Hourman, etc. The legacy aspect of the team seems like a good match with a time travel show.

But, like, just bring more people then. Have Firestorm transmute Darkh's idol. I understand they can't have the Legends team running around undoing every bad thing that happens on the sister shows, but that's why adding time travel has a reputation for screwing up universes' logic. I'm willing to accept it because I'd

Yeah, didn't look as rough as most sitcom trailers this year, but still pretty bad. They just stand around and make references to comic names/tropes I recognize? Those are the jokes?

It is satisfying every time, though.

But at least they had a shot of a jet turning around every few episodes!

I looked it up and Grimm was in fact the most recent one I could find that started on Fridays (a couple moved there almost immediately but didn't actually debut there). Just a month before Grimm was A Gifted Man, which we all remember so well and think about every day.

Really hoping CBS audiences will want to watch the new Kevin James comedy, huh? …Probably a good bet.

Is this an episode of "I Love Films?"
