In his little "please don't spread spoilers" message before the advanced screening, he pronounced the "V" instead of "versus," which I found hilarious.

It's gonna be awkward when Superman comes back from the dead right around the same time Clark Kent turns up alive.
Well at least we can keep Marvel out of that one as long as neither of them get doctorates. …What's that now?
I actually didn't mind the initial "the name Martha gets him to pause a moment and think of Superman as a fellow person" moment. But when he then had Batman drag out the "WHAT DID YOU SAY?" for like four more lines plus the flashbacks to the Waynes' death AND tomb, it was so obnoxious. Yes, Zack! Her name was Martha!…
I feel terrible for the kids who are going to convince their parents to take them to this. There was a boy behind me who spent the last ten minutes whimpering.
It's not just that dream. He murders many people, with many methods, including handguns, machine guns, purposeful explosions, and the brutal destruction of occupied vehicles.
It's still not acceptable. If he's okay with using their guns, why doesn't he cut out the middle man and bring his own? Once you've shot a guy in the chest, there's no moral high ground by the fact that you used some other guy's gun. It just makes him The Punisher Without The Preparation.
It goes totally unexplained. The shot in the trailer is all that's in the movie. Bruce looks at it significantly, then goes about doing whatever he was doing at that moment. Just one of several moments that will make zero sense to people unfamiliar with the DC universe (I mean, people know who Robin is, but it's so…
One of many things I like about it is that Doc Ock actively doing villainous things while Spidey's actively doing heroic things is built into the DNA of the fight. They're not just two punch-monsters, one of whom we've been told is good. It shows them taking actions that define their characters.
Well, like I said, this ups the ponderous moping by like twelve factors and that's where a lot of the boring comes in. But the similarities I was thinking of include:
It really is discouraging seeing just how many people are resigned to "Oh it's terrible? Oh well, better go pay for it opening weekend!" Superhero movies come out every two months now, guys. You don't have to support this with money.
I saw it last night. It's very boring for most of the runtime. The Amazing Spider-man 2 is the best point of comparison I can think of, but obviously with waaaaaaay more ponderous moping and somehow even more sequel set-up. Batfleck and Wonder Woman could clearly be good in someone else's hands though, so that's…
Holy crap. That's insane. They did NOT get good value for their money. The movie doesn't look bad, generally, but it doesn't have more or better action than any given solo Marvel movie. It should have been less expensive than the Avengers films certainly, with their huge casts.
From C+? Way under. It's a mess from a structure and character standpoint. Man of Steel didn't translate Superman well, but at least it's a movie. BvS:DoJ is like if Age of Ultron was just the Thor-in-a-cave scene on repeat for 2 hours followed by the Hulkbuster fight but also Jim Carrey's Riddler is there for some…

'if he thought he owed it to the world to don tights — even though it makes him personally miserable — then, yes, I would question that decision as "heroic."'
[Obtuse Batman v Superman quasi-spoiler] The movie Kents would never drown puppies. They're a horse-drowning family.
No, I was assured by Highlander that there can be only one.
There's still plenty of time for Sanders to concede and the party to "come together." 2008 Clinton didn't drop out until June.
They don't seem to be borrowing anything from the actual beats of the comic story beyond the vague premise, thankfully.
