That is a decent comparison. And there's a reason it happens in the first act. A version of Batman Begins where the League of Shadows stuff is the entire movie would be terrible. And I mostly like the League of Shadows stuff.

As a Man of Steel detractor, I gotta say Zimmer was a champ yet again following a mega-iconic superhero theme with something that was different but still appropriate for the character. The trailers are great, and he's the number one reason why.
I don't need Superman to be morally perfect, but learning at 33 years old that Killing is Wrong is way too far behind the curve.
He needs to look at the camera and move his hands more. Maybe try a deep v-neck with a blazer.
This looks even more delightful than its reputation had led me to believe, and I already assumed it was fun. I mean, just look at that interior art and fighting game gag!
Face/Off has a character named Castor Troy. Like all things in Face/Off, it's totally normal.
I love how quickly both the bird consultant and the car wash owner agreed that it looks totally natural for a bunch of chickens to hang out in an LA tree.
"My name is Shazam." BOOM "Oops. Okay, umm, so this is my secret identity. Not so secret now I guess."
Scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage patty and French toast, with some apple juice.
Please. Call him Cypher Raige.
One of the pillars of the show is finding hilariously bad/convoluted solutions to problems, and that bit is a perfect symbol of it.
I'll take short and generic over whatever ABC is trying to do.
If we're going to talk about the ending in literal terms (which is a dumb thing to do in my opinion), I see no reason to assume that those two are the only survivors on the entire enormous train. We see only them because (a) pacing, (b) characters we know are more impactful than strangers, and (c) Adam & Eve symbolism.
The Raid 2 is not the kind of movie you stop partway through. It's the kind of movie you fast-forward through chunks.
I've heard PrimeTime a few times on the local hip-hop station.
First things first, she's the realest.
Yeah, I'd really like to see Broad City get some recognition there. I wonder if having two potential lead actresses will hurt their chances there (the answer is no, certainly not more than the voters likely having no idea the show exists).
How you guys doin'? You doin' good?
It's so dark and pessimistic for something that presumably is at least in part about going, "Man, remember Hanson?"
Finally, the tale of the Penguin's mom we've all been clamoring for!
