imdb and Rotten Tomatoes are self-selecting groups. They're super skewed.

I noticed that too. That's just insult after injury for those poor Jenningses.

"What's FX?" ask citizens of 1993.

Maybe this means he'll come on Sklarbro Country to discuss what drugs he's taking, BABY!

I can get behind the relapse-as-victory ending for Veronica, because she's so damaged and because what she's doing is ultimately noble. My big problem with the movie is it giving Weevil a parallel ending. It spins out of a small subplot he's barely in, so the movie doesn't earn this change, which is way larger than

As I understand it they want to stop doing "pilot season," not the concept of pilots. Basically a cable network model where shows are developed over however long it takes and shows can start and stop at any point in the calendar year instead of just Fall or Midseason.

The Golden Globes do!

That framing device was a bit odd. I buy this as an episode for the audience because we get to hear the exact jokes. I buy it as a story he tells his kids because he makes a point at the end about people staying in your life or fading away with the perspective of years. But what is this story he's telling his date

I imagine when you're on a team where more than half of your coworkers have died, including yourself*, killing doesn't seem that permanent a solution.

1939 Batman was literally JUST 1939 Batman. By 1940 he was firmly in the no-killing camp. Killer Batman applies to Batman about as much as Chuck Cunningham is a main character in Happy Days or Leslie's love of Mark Brendanawicz drives Parks and Rec.

She does things that episode. Most episodes she doesn't do anything (or what she does is dumb) and people spend their time talking about how special she is.

If Leslie's wedding dress isn't quirky, I don't know what quirk is. They definitely dodged cliche with Fancy Party and Ron/Diane though.

Matt's bobbing Smug Dreamworks Face has appeared to shame people who complained about Arthur's personality. You think you know annoying? You have not seen true annoyance!

A-.

The writers did a perfect job playing to Spencer's strengths and Spencer did a perfect job delivering on what they gave him. It was a beautiful thing.

I will miss Arthur, but I hope Diana sticks around for a handful.

This week I learned that the actress playing Cassidy is named Galadriel. That's real. In real life that happened.

Sounds like Coulson is keeping the cure for death to himself. Someone should refuse to identify themselves, shoot their way into his plane and kill him. Preferably someone with easy access to stun technology.

They even could have had him try to stun her, only to find that Asgardians are tougher than expected. Clomp Manbutt gets to look competent; the villain gets to look intimidating; the plot still moves forward; everybody wins.
