My favorite reference to that "Thank God" line is the Venture Brothers cover where Dean happily chirps out "Thanks, God!"

Any scenario that asks a new performer to be funny on SNL without changing any writers is probably not a winnable scenario.
It's in Phia.
Right. But something like New Girl lost audience in direct relation to how much better it got over time. So I can see how they might convince themselves the two are unrelated.
WHY DOESN'T HE FIND A CHAIR OR SOMETHING?
Pretty sweet Fatality animation, though.
Returns had a great trailer too. I'm starting to think Superman is way better suited to trailers than feature length films.
I would like to see Cece do more non-Schmidt stuff. I think part of it is that she was there to be Jess's confidante when she was the "new girl," but now Jess has three roommates who can fill the Good Friend role in stories.
I'm actually of the opposite feeling, that X-men have always been a flawed fit for a shared universe with non-mutant superpowers. When mutant-human relations are supposed to be a metaphor for discrimination, it starts to break down when Captain America or the Fantastic Four can be beloved figures. So I'm kind of…
I always kinda figured Tony would have been talking them up on TV after New York, since he's the one who first really embraced the name while having a drink with Loki. But I guess his PTSD outweighed his bragging tendencies on that one.
I don't see why that would be true. The X-folks do have a lot of them, but there's still Moondragon and Purple Man and whatnot with the mind-powers. I think they're just repeating the "no psychics" thing because they think that'll make it extra amazing when "the clairvoyant" is revealed to be a real psychic.
It was so tragic when Joe Chill lopped off Thomas Wayne's head with that lightsaber.
RT @GOP Today we remember Daft Punk's bold stand and their role in ending rapeyism.
It gets much better, and I mostly like it from the start. The back end of season one is where it starts to really come into its own. The one-off cases may be what you're reacting to, but while those stick around (and continue to be well-done in my opinion), they also up the serial elements.
Hannigram is generally my favorite photo-sharing site, but it's like, do you have to upload EVERY person you have for lunch?
It doesn't necessarily equal it. But the idea that even bringing up the possibility of racism is somehow off-limits is wrong.
I'm kinda disappointed that there's any agreement at all about what Cecil looks like. Part of the fun is he's just a voice.
If you wanna talk about loaded words, "Jap" falls in that category. I love CBB with all my heart, and I don't think it ever has bad intentions, but it's not infallible (especially since it's improvised). It's been too long for me to remember the details of that episode, but it was definitely at least drawing laughs…
My hometown got an Olive Garden a couple years ago. People were ecstatic, despite the presence of a perfectly good Italian restaurant just down the street that's nearly comparable price-wise. It bummed me out.
That grey hats line is clearly just trying to ride the coattails of the Low Winter Sun sensation.
