"Earthshine" might be the best thing off of Vapor Trails, which, by the way, apparently has a new remixed version released the other day.  Which is good, because the remix of "One Little Victory" sounds so much better than the truly shitty original mix.

Yeah, Muscle Man's completely unfazed delivery when he was explaining the whole time-travel paradox situation made it one of the best lines of the episode.

I loved this episode.  It's been a while since we've had a strictly Finn-and-Jake episode, and a while since an episode managed to combine the fun adventure side of things with some serious characterization so well.  And the art was pretty great too; I particularly liked Jake's eyes reflecting the stars as he wondered

I just assumed it served as a synonym for depression in Ooo.  But I don't think it was implying that Finn is sad so he needs to man up and stop acting like a girl the way that "sad like a woman" could imply.  I think it was just Adventure Time having fun with language and playing around with the old trope of assigning

Yeah, I think that was strongly implied.  Did anybody catch what the bosses said after Finn defeated them just before they exploded?  I think it was the same thing each time.

Hope you feel better.

You should get the album, it's so good (probably my favorite album to come out in the past month or two), although I don't really think there's an upper limit on how much of one's discretionary income is acceptable to spend on books.

The title track is probably my favorite at this point, but "Get It", "36" Chain", that song whose title is an acronym, and "Sea Legs" were also really good in my opinion.

Damn, I was hoping that, seeing as how this was the pilot, the father would be an actual regular cast member instead of a guest star, because yeah, apart from Coulson, the father was the best thing about the pilot.

Yeah, the Moone Boy finale was really good.  And that's a good point on how they managed to establish well-definied personalities for pretty much every even marginally important character in such a short run of time.  Is there going to be a second series?  If so, I wonder how they'll deal with Sean Murphy's continued

Do we get points for a D+ grade in AV Club's Fantasy TV?  Either way, I'm glad I picked this show and Dads.

I also really like Diaz on Brooklyn Nine-Nine.  Her line last week where, after Samberg's character points out that her suggestion to smack a juvenile perp in the head with a magazine would be police brutality, she says "Oh yeah, I guess it would," is probably the hardest I've laughed at either episode thus far.

Good luck on your story!

Was Hello Ladies any good?  I meant to check it out but was pretty busy/tired last night.

Is it too early to say that Denver could legitimately go 16-0?  Because, holy fucking shit, those guys are good.

Congrats on 38 weeks!

Feel better!
