I think it kind of points to where Finn and PB are as people at this point in the show, that both think that there's some kind of "trick" to getting in rather than just plainly stating the truth about their business in the Fire Kingdom.

I feel like Cinnamon Bun probably just lacks even the most rudimentary idea of what a dog actually looks like.

Yeah, I feel like every year I manage to get overly excited about how the Bills will have improved and will take that first step towards actually being a serious playoff contender, but then it invariably falls apart within two months, so I know how you feel on the

Season 3 of Parks and Rec is pretty much the best thing ever.

In large part due to how highly you recommended it on here last week, I also watched some Moone Boy earlier this week, and you were right, it's good!  That creepy lech is one of the creepiest leches I've ever seen to not actually look that creepy but still be really creepy.

Happy Birthday!

I bet if one fell asleep while listening to the probably-nonexistent soundtrack to The Brave Little Toaster, one's dreams would tend to be even more fucked-up.

Treasure Planet?

Question:  Has Morgan Spurlock done anything of worth since Supersize Me?  Or, alternatively, was Supersize Me pretty shitty to begin with and I'm just remembering it from the perspective of my lower-standards-for-entertainment former high school self?

Zeppelin's pretty great if you ignore the fact that they stole a bunch of shit.  I'm pretty sure that at least half of Led Zeppelin I contains stolen bits, but it's still an incredible album with a fairly unique take on blues-rock.  And Physical Graffiti is probably one of my all-time top 10 albums.

The Constant is a incredible hour of television.  Desmond is the fucking best.

I came home from college this weekend, and spent a lot more time with family than consuming pop culture, which was pretty nice on the whole.  I played a bunch of ping pong and went on a bike ride with tires with questionably low air pressure both of which were pretty great.

The first Cars album is fantastic.  Totally worth $1.

I personally don't get the college football thing either, despite being an American at a college well-known for its athletics.  I think the fact that football got to be so big in part from the college game has a lot to do with it (I believe the sport was invented at the college level?).  And the NFL is still fucking

Fair enough, but I feel like the term "pop culture" can be used pretty loosely on here.  I've seen both commenters and writers on here talk about listening classical music in the same kind of pop culture context to which they refer listening to, say, Radiohead or another legitimately pop culture musical artist.
And

Yeah, I think I'll probably start with TNG Season 3 when I get around to watching Trek then, as it seems to be the closest thing to a consensus on where to begin.  Thanks for the advice @avclub-0f2aab038be93ff407d92af691001e73:disqus , @avclub-efb3d8be0319721ef751da0b05d9f6a5:disqus ,

A lot of the pop culture that I would consume in this scenario is stuff that I'm planning on consuming in the near future, albeit at a slower rate what with all the new albums and TV that's going to come out in the meantime.  Like Twin Peaks:  I'm probably going to start watching that on Hulu sometime in the next

Does one come out of this chamber the same age as one was when one went in, despite the year that has passed from one's perspective?  One.

Eh, I don't drink that much, but I usually drink Yuengling, which is as cheap as a lot of the other macrobrewed stuff (like Bud Light), only it's also better than most of the more popular cheap macrobrews.
