I seem to have recalled hearing for some reason that the producers or whatever were dubbing this month of HIMYM episodes "October Breakup Month" or something like that, which means Nick and Victoria probably aren't going to be around for more than a couple of weeks each.  So we've got, what four more episodes.  So

Yeah, Ron's reaction to the suggestion of having corn at the bbq party was funny, but it seemed a bit out of character for him.  You would imagine someone who's as fanatical about eating steak and meat would be OK with corn on the cob even if they do hate vegetables.

So is the entire book written in confusing, grammatically questionable, awkward prose, or is this just something from the blurb on the inside jacket?

The first movie I saw in theaters was The Lion King, but I was like 2-3 years old so the first one I actually remember going to see was Toy Story when I was four or five or whatever.  It probably became the movie that I watched more times than any other when it came out on VHS.  Good times.

It was only tangentially based off of the album if I remember correctly, and "Sgt. Pepper's" wasn't a concept album in the first place.  And like everyone here is saying, it was pretty horrible.

I've never read the comics, but from reading the summary of the first
album on Wikipedia, it seems they were just hoping that using a few big words and
writing incomprehensible lyrics that amounted to a barely coherent plot,
people would just assume that they were telling a really intellectual
and artful story.  That

Hey, maybe Pineda will somehow still work out for the Yanks in the end.  Is Sabathia back from that groin strain yet, btw?

Thanks.  I'm probably going to stick with trying to finish "Thousand Autumns" first, and move on from there if I can get into it.  It seems like people always mention "Cloud Atlas" as his magnum opus; were you recommending "Black Swan Green" because you think it's better, or because it's more accessible to the

I meant "era" more as in "the period of time encompassing "The Bends"-"Amnesiac"' as opposed to an actual correct usage of the word "era" (I was writing this at maybe 2 in the morning).  But yeah, referring to the four albums that I mentioned as an era doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
