@avclub-40e90db13ab31c7efd64228034182c2e:disqus  OK, I may have misjudged the new Gregor's height a little, but he still looks pretty pathetic compared with the original.
@avclub-0b139a3fb621641d0c79d2d478c5bc92:disqus I thought it was something insignificant like that, and Spoilers: he's going to be all corpsey by

It seems pretty expensive if Game of Thrones is the only reason that you're going to get it though.  Better to buy the package thingy on iTunes for like 30 something dollars and watch the episodes a day late or whatever, than to spend half of that every month for a channel that you're watching for one show.    Of

@avclub-5470317571e6488699c5096861915107:disqus  Mild Spoiler Alert:  I haven't seen the episode, but in the books it always seemed like Pod is only really in his element when he's fighting.  In AFFC every time he and Brienne are in mortal danger he wants to be fighting someone.  It's just literally every other

Wait, Vargo Hoat rides a zebra?  I have really got to go back and reread those books so I can keep up on all my minutiae.

To be quite honest, my outrage at the replacement of the Ser Perfect-Fit-For-The-Role, Horse-Decapitating Gregor with Ser Slightly Over Six Feet Tall And Somewhat Intimidating Gregor, is outweighed by my astonishment that he was (so far as I know) the ONLY actor recast on a show with a cast that's roughly the

Yeah, I'd have to agree on the Giuntoli thing; he's not great, but in scenes where he has a good supporting cast around him (cough cough SWM) he gets the job done.  Juliette, on the other hand, is absolutely terrible, and I sincerely hope that if this show makes it to a second season, that they have Nick break up with

I get the feeling that Grimms are just normal humans with the ability to see creatures for what they really are.  I was thinking that Grimms must have some kind of supernatural strength of their own considering how Aunt Dyingofcancer manages to kill a Whateverthatthingwas in the pilot in an intense battle that would

Yeah, I wasn't nearly as impressed with the first two episodes as Will Harris was, but I'll stick with it for a while, given Abrams' track record.  Why does every single show these days that seems to promise a potentially interesting mythology have to bog down everything with cliche procedural crap?  This premiere had

Have you tried any of the side projects of Dream Theater's members?  There's a lot of stuff out there, and I haven't listened to all of it, but singer James LaBrie's solo stuff is very similar to DT's stuff, though not quite as good.  "Elements of Persuasion" is LaBrie's best solo work imo.  Liquid Tension Experiment

Who was it that was playing Nancy Grace a couple of years ago when they did entire Nancy Grace parody skits?

Yeah, this should be much better than Williams Jr's. crap.  Out of curiosity, is Sanders' Hall of Fame speech on Youtube anywhere?  All I find when I search it is a bunch of links to Emmitt Smith's acceptance speech.  Or am I missing some joke here?

While I would agree that this is a very good pilot, like many others here, it took me a few episodes to get into the show. But after those first few episodes I was hooked. Out of curiosity, how much longer are the extended versions of the episodes? I've seen a few producer's cuts of Parks and Rec episodes on Hulu,

Good point Pimphand. And it was a brilliant dialogue, as you said, whether it made perfect sense or not. You'd have to be fairly into football to really be able to critically break down the validity of what they said anyways.

Too Bad This Didn't Air in September, that Colts conversation was pretty awesome, but yeah, it was a little off. Also, I feel like most of the Colts receivers are just good because they have Peyton Manning; that's why they've got great draft picks. They should have talked about the Pats: Brady was a 6th rounder,

Yeah, so I've only seen the last five episodes of season 2 and this one, so maybe I just haven't seen enough of April to be tired of her character yet, but I don't really think that it's that big of a deal. Yeah, she acts like a "bitch" at times, but it's not like that's how she acts all the time with no subtlety. I

Thesaurus Rex
This might seem kind of childish, but the first thing that popped up in my head when I read Thesaurus Rex was an old Arthur episode from when I was a little kid. His sister has some dream where a t-rex called The Saurus is basically a living dinosaur version of a thesaurus.
