The fucking spectrum a capella commercial. I can't handle it. It's not catchy enough to get stuck in my head but its shrill enough to annoy the shit out of me every time it comes on

I don't know what it is about San Andreas- maybe its just nostalgia, maybe its just the killer soundtrack, but it's always been the GTA with the most replayability for me.

I almost want him to win so we can see just how bad it gets, and to see all the promises he can't fulfill, but I also don't want this country to self destruct / start ww3

i would argue that the mic is a thing you can grab without permission, but you should still be cautious thread (MC skills dependent)

I've read several articles the past few days on people who are still voting him, and I don't think they're necessarily painted as vile, evil people. A lot of them are convinced that the media is out to get Trump (and they probably are but how can you resist with his quote-ability). One of the most interesting comments

Not super familiar with the couch to 5k plan and it's build plan but I would say keep repeating week 1 until you can get it and then go from there. Continue to supplement with your walks

One of my friends gifted me Starbound and it's kind of addicting, damn it. Also thinking of playing some Overwatch for the first time in about a month, due to the Halloween event.

same

Why won't Obama just call it what it is; the HMS Terror ?

Spectral pirates? That's mondo cool

Managing expectations

Apparently they did just find the ships in the past few weeks, so that's kind of cool

The Terror is a great book, though I thought the ending was the weakest aspect. I hope they can do it justice. I haven't read anything else by Simmons because apparently he went batshit crazy at some point

everything about this headline is awful

same. aka be burned out and tired by the afternoon and not focus on work the rest the day.

I've only read one of his stories before but he is universally recommended so I've had this on my to read list for months now

began a half marathon training plan this week. I ran one 5 years ago but I dropped my mileage big time afterwards because of work and not wanting to destroy my knees. I also lift 5 times a week so I'm interested to see if I can maintain both these things

Thomas Ligotti's Songs of a Dead Dreamer and Grimscribe, to start getting into that spooky Halloween mood. Only read the first three stories but so far they've all been enjoyable

but do you think you can go toe to toe with busta rhymes?

i think It came out last year that he was a MRA-type kind of guy, so this isn't a surprise
