That's why this show makes no sense….Social media has become essential to marketing. If Henry is so great at his job, he'd at least have a Facebook. Doesn't mean he would use it, but he would have it.

Her complaining about LA may have resulted in some of my favorite monologues. Especially the ones about Katherine McPhee and her dogs.
Also, Julie might be getting her own show with Billy Eisner, but I haven't heard the update on that in a while.
Is this http://www.newsradioart.com/ the website? Because I would consider this a dissertation.
In 30 years it will all be jibberish to people in their teens/twenties.
The only way this show will sort-of redeem itself is if Eliza adjusts to how Henry tells her to be and she earns the respect of her colleagues/neighbor who reads books, but then realizes that people shouldn't take her any less seriously because of how she was before; that how she used to be was almost perfectly fine…
Really? I've never seen that show. I'm in that weird age range where I saw all of Drake and Josh and maybe the first season or two ICarly before I stopped watching Nickelodeon and Disney.
I completely agree. Since Dan Harmon says he was heavily influenced by Newsradio, I wouldn't be surprised if, when creating the show/characters, that he would draw upon that character dynamic, whether if be consciously or subconsciously.
It doesn't make the wall characters "not as great as the pillars," but those…
Or Doctor Who.
If Community was a big budget movie directed by David O.Russell, this would be the cast.
If you listened to the latest Nerdist podcast, Dan Harmon said to Hardwick that he officially has accepted that teenaged girls will never like him. Which to me = less shipping.
I agree about how there would have been less of an effect if Annie left. Out of all the characters, it just makes sense that Annie and Troy would eventually leave the school and possibly grow away from the group. As much as I love Donald Glover and miss how hilarious he was on Community, the show was still pretty…
yeah she was Helen
Yeah…I realize you have to go all-out for a pilot, but…come on. It's a bit excessive. It's like Bruno Heller watched all the Batman movies in one weekend, wrote the pilot the night before he had to get it to executives, and then never rewrote it.
They only really needed one villain from the rogue gallery…not five.
I'm pretty sure they film on location in NYC, but are using different parts of NYC and blending them together to create the feeling of Gotham having a different layout than NYC/San Fran/Boston/Chcago.
I don't know what show you were watching, but the one I saw had crap dialogue and some bland acting.
The sense of place was great, but all the other aspects of the show were cringe-worthy.
because it's really difficult to run with a full half-gallon of milk in your coat.
Symbolism at its most sophisticated.
Cause his nose looks like a beak and he's a snappy dresser.
I don't know if this has been mentioned yet; Ben Mackenzie is extremely sexy, but he's no Jim Gordon.
