This century is out of my wheelhouse.

Abed: Look I don't know people, but I know TV. When characters feel like the show they're on is ending, their instinct is to spin-off onto something safer. In Jeff and Britta's case, something that would last six-episodes and have a lot of bickering about tweezers and gluten, starring them and an equally waspy

The Dean choking while everyone else was too involved with their personal problems was probably the most hilarious moment of the episode.

Yeah, I didn't make the video. Some of the examples aren't product placement, but all the Snapple references are.

Product placement integrated into the narrative has existed since Tv has. In the 50's you have Gracie Allen selling us Carnation powdered milk and now Gillian Jacobs is selling us Subway sandwiches. Obviously the product placement is stealthier now and sometimes part of the storyline, but in a way I'd rather have them

Kaitlin Olson is an overwhelmingly better comedic actress than Zoey Deschanel.

True, but I think Saunders captured just about every facet of American life in Tenth of December—which is technically what they're supposed to be looking for, not just some spanning, epic novel.

Saunders was robbed.

I think the couple's costume thing was just Megan Ganz being a Jeff/Annie shipper…I mean, when you compare the Andy Bobrow and Megan Ganz episodes of season 4, you get the Ganz episodes having subtle Jeff/Annie things/subtext and the Bobrow episodes have a slight Jeff/Britta subtext. It's pretty much a mess because

I think I remember him saying on a podast that the network wanted him to have them stay at Greendale, but he was against it—however, he really wanted to fix the show because he became so emotionally attatched to it and had season 5 take place there

Because the season 4 "gimmick" episodes were just that—gimmicks.

Britta and Jeff are in the "normal" 4th quadrant of Harmon's story circle. They're returning to normalcy, having changed since the pilot and they've accepted it—they've accepted the "call to adventure"

I love how they always show up in the last two episodes of the season.

What I love about this show is how each season has a theme for what the Study Group is trying to accomplish over the year.

Awesome catch on the fan. I think if you analyze , "Remedial Chaos Theory," enough, you can get a very clear idea on how Harmon sees the future potential of these characters. Another subtle detail is when Shirley's pies burn and she calls them all "horney toads." Then everyone looks at each other, but the order it's

I'll try to find it…It may have actually been on the DVD commentary for "Paradigms of Human Memory"

Abed is an evil wizard.

I definitely think he's referencing Jeff and Britta. I think there's a lot of Jeff/Britta subtext in the show that people tend to not recognize because some of those moments actually take place when Jeff is talking to Annie.

I loved the call-back to the Dean wearing a wedding ring in the Pilot cold-open.

Harmon's said that if there's, I mean, when there's a movie, it will take place between seasons 5 and 6…does this mean we're going to get a crazy set-up for something epic, get left on a cliff-hanger, and then if, I mean, when season 6 premieres, we're going to have everything go back to normal with the Study Group
