Like I said before—there was a last minute rewrite. Bobrow's known for writing more "dramatic episodes," such as "Mixology Certification" so his episodes are polarizing to the fans. The ones who value jokes over character-based stuff tend to dislike these episodes.

Oh yeah, the Hannibal reference didn't land as a joke (however, I don't think you can blame Andy Bobrow solely for the tag as we don't know whose idea it was). They probably should have developed the story more before suddenly bringing it in ten (or so) episodes into the series. I think they could have used some more

Megan Ganz's Halloween episode was good. It wasn't as great as the series' previous Halloween episodes and I think with her shipping Jeff and Annie, she made them have this odd, slightly out of character plan to have a couple's costume together.

Exactly. She's an anarchist. They don't believe in voting! She's anti-government, so it wouldn't make sense for her to vote for any candidate. She'd want to change the voting system because of how the electoral college works. She'd also be extremely vocal about this.

Yeah, that's why I find it odd that he would consider CBS, unless it was because he was offered a crap-load of money.

Obviously they'd pefer to be known as hosts, but I said "lady-host" because the only female most on a late-night show right now is Chelsea Handler. If there were more female late-night hosts, then there wouldn't need to be a distinction.

I feel like this is just going to restrain Colbert from being hilarious. Same with John Oliver. They both have more freedom on Cable. I hope they don't sell-out their freedom for more money. This is obvioulsy CBS' attempt to compete with the "hipper," hosts on NBC.

That's a little nitpicky to point out. Same age could still be 39 if she hasn't had a birthday yet. That's why I put late 30s.

Julie Klausner.

Everyone is older than their characters, except Gillian Jacobs who is younger than Britta is.

Haha, yeah… I know Abed is in his 20s, but there's been some jokes about how no one actually knows how old Abed really is.

So just putting Jeff turning 40 revelation into perspective—

Posted on wrong board….i didn't read this article.

I completely agree. Season 4 probably damaged Annie's character the most. Her maturity level regressed. Also it makes several conversations she had with Jeff a bit unsettling (like their "moment," at the end of the Inspector Spacetime episode). The distant thing with Annie probably has a lot to do with her dad. We

If you compare the lyrics of the puppet episode songs to the ones that Dan Harmon, Megan Ganz, Annie Mebane and the rest of the writing staff of previous seasons wrote(especially the Glee Christmas episode ones), they're crap.

I really liked the "some worries," sticker in the background on one of the lockers—Jeff was obviously having "some worries," in this episode and it's always awesome to have a Vaughn reference.

There would be no syllabus.

Harmon's been planting the seeds for this for a while—seriously, watch the "Remedial Chaos Theory," commentary.

I agree. Harmon has said his third act in his scripts is notoriously short, which angers Sony/NBC (because of commercials), because "in sitcoms, everything is wrapped up neatly in the third act."

I rewatched that last night—I was cringing the entire time. Just horrible. But in Todd's defense, he was judging it by a "season 4 episode," caliber and not Dan Harmon's Community caliber.
