Duck say something like "his parents brother and sister or something like that." Me assume he just stereotyping West Virginians, or trying to underscore that Bob is hick who come from nowhere. Fact that he speak fluent Spanish suggest he probably not come from West Virginia, so me not sure Duck even have that right,

Kramer?

Me work in that kind of atmosphere too. Just a different Snuffy.

This week of shows with Oliver reassure me that, if Stewart ever take Letterman gig, or otherwise leave show, someone could take over and do decent job. But me agree that Colbert is irreplaceable, because entire format of show is about him.

Me remember Colbert hosting and it not working very well. His persona is so at odds with Jon, which is why two of them together was gold, but it also make it hard to switch chairs. (Me can't imagine Stewart trying to host Reporr either.)

At first glance, me thought you were suggesting game where characters are AVClub commentors. David Caruso have sunglasses-whipping-off powers; ZMF just yell at everyone and play Slayer really loud; every finishing move involve giving someone CancerAIDS.

Me would always play as Buster, for that reason.

David Cross' character is both analyst, and therapist - an analrapist, if you will.

To clarify, first season is presented as talkshow with incompetent host. Second season is single-camera sitcom about failed talkshow host. Me still think that brilliant conceit. It would be like if Colbert Report went off air, but instead we got an Office-like show about "Stephen Colbert" character going to Tea Party

Me can only picture this show with pun-laden SJP voiceover:

Also, saying "$813 trillion… if entire thing made out of diamonds" is like saying dog food would be delicious if it made entirely out of cookie dough. Well, sure, but then it not actually dog food.

Anne Hathaway in leather cat suit riding motorcycle with wheels that flip around? Me not know what you do for fun, but me enjoyed that whole lot.

That freak me out completely as young monster.

Me not that surprised. Superman boring character - "invincible guy who always win" not make for great drama, and directors tend to go "gaping hole in narrative logic" route. Even Richard Donner, who get tone absolutely right, and come up with convincing problem Superman not able to get out of, still have to come up

Or when someone do something embarrassing, they hold on it for a beat, then Michael or Lucille make cutting remark and it on to next thing. Here someone do something embarrassing, and then keep doing it for several minutes, then Narrator overexplain what just happened.

That mice gag was brilliant, but rest of episode had real problems.

@avclub-011d0b4fe6835bb3d37ef4e0ea713de6:disqus , me find it much easier to start relationship than one-night-stand, and me suspect many guys have similar experience. Some guys make much better case for relationship than they do for casual sex.

Having second guy also undercover in pile of garbage was perfect touch.

People liked Colony Collapse? Not to be killjoy, but me thought that was worst episode so far. So many jokes - wedding illusion, weird nervous breakdown GOB have that Ann misinterpret as proposal - just drag on and on past point of being funny. Me really miss snappier pacing of original seasons. Me up to second

Turns out, Freddie Prinze Jr.'s career was dead all along!
