Used fast playlist for a short morning run (that shuffled up more Van Halen than I expected):

Commenters of the AV Club unite…you have nothing to lose but your puns.

I got one! I got one!

Perfect movie and soundtrack artifact for the time period — saw it at the theater as a 16yo, had a friend who was obsessed with the soundtrack (especially the creepy kid choir). I really dug the INXS/Jimmy Barnes song and was convinced it would be a huge hit (still think it should have been).

I think IV and VI are pretty interchangeable in my ranking of favorites — just depends on my mood..

I think that's about where I am in my thinking after rewatching it again last month after many many years.

I like III, just not as much as the others. V is the only one that made me cringe that something was just wrong.

I think there's a decent cross section of the GOP who don't care what kind of person Trump is at this point. They support him because:
1. Their Brietbart/Fox News/Alex Jonesed brains truly believe Hillary is the devil.

I has aged better than I would have expected. Watched it a month or so ago before it left Netflix. First time I'd rewatched since college and it was a little better than I remembered. It used to rank even below V on my list.
