I consider that original "Fright Night" (which when it was released, I was in junior high) one of the first horror (comedy) movies that subverted the audience's expectations of how a vampire horror movie should play out. Loved it. And the music was perfectly 80s.

Early Crue, my favorite Slayer track, classic Megadeth and SOTD…nice. (not to mention Mercyful Fate but King Diamond's voice just is an acquired taste that I never quite acquired)
