I'll listen to the dialogue again, but beyond my "cracked gender prism," there's absolutely zero doubt that he was getting off on being aggressive and that Alison felt trapped and violated.

He's definitely military, but I'm unclear as to whether he knows he's a clone. Since he was originally not going to be the male clone, it makes sense that it was vague, but they're gonna have to clue us in on his level of self-awareness soon, I think.
