@avclub-2767c0e97bac7e3f270939e55783e426:disqus I hated the all star concept when it was introduced. I thought it wasn't fair to the contestants to pair them with someone that would overshadow them (and there were a number of critiques early on about how the judges couldn't take their eyes off the all star and I don't

They have not said anything about the winner structure this year from what I've seen.

As @CountBulletsula:disqus points out, I've found her to be highly personable in interviews. I guess that's not coming through in her performances? I haven't noticed that yet because I'm already in love with her so I'll be on the look out for it in the future. But I haven't gotten dance robot from her yet, personally.

I'm with you 100% on the name puns. That got old before the first time they did it!

After all these years of Nigel, is there still a skeev line for this show?

And for guys like Cyrus, anything they lack in skill they more than make up for in personality and charisma. One of the reasons I tend not to vote is because that makes it so tough to choose. Just because someone has an off week dance wise doesn't mean they don't necessarily deserve to keep going in the competition.

Early favorites: Fik-Shun, Jasmine (cyrus' ex. It's going to be confusing have 2 Jasmines this year), Mariah (who I expected to be spotlit more in Vegas after they blew through her audition in a montage), and Malece. With Emilio not being able to make it, that cut who I thought would wind up being my other favorite

Can't recommend it based on this episode. Orphan Black was amazing!

Thank you! Thank god someone gets it!

There's no humiliation attached. Not all people feel the need to berate and humiliate someone for simply finding them attractive regardless of if that is reciprocated or not. Some people are actually kind human beings, you should meet a couple. Which is the point. In any event, I was talking about the sheer fact that

For what? I honestly have no clue what you're talking about. Did I say, or suggest, somewhere that Ken would sleep with Bob? because if I did, I should say right now that I don't think that that would happen at all. I'm not saying nor suggesting that Bob would have a reasonable shot with any of the men at SC&P, but at

Your point being?

For an A review, we sure did seem to be spending a lot of time talking about the Bard and not quite as much about the episode. I'm not complaining as I totally love The Merchant of Venice, but I would think an A episode, esp an A episode of Mad Men, would be more than enough to speak for itself. I didn't think this

Stole the words right out of my mouth. And the horrible thing about it really is that no show really wants to deal with a baby or child actors if they don't have to, so of course they age them quickly. Even Game of Thrones took all of the Stark kids and made them older than they are in the books in order to avoid

"Oh, my kingdom for a supernatural baby story where the baby grows at a normal rate!"

I'm only going off the fact that she hasn't been a main choreographer for the past few seasons and she wasn't in Vegas or on the audition tour at all this year like she was in the early years of the show. The closest we've come was the horrible tribute episode last year for which she choreographed the great group

Thanks, I felt bad for not remembering his name. He got only a half hearted spot light in Vegas so I commit him to memory as firmly as I'd have liked to. But he's now an early favorite of mine assuming he's still there and didn't get cut off screen.

That last part I'll always agree with. Producer tampering always annoys me in the few reality shows I do watch, but at least there's kind of an out with it. A lot of times in the comments of Project Runway we talk about a contestant getting the villain edit, and everyone knows producers stitch the episodes together

I know the producers aren't interested in it, but it still annoys me. I think it's the sports fan in me that finds the tampering of a competition based reality show so annoying. I tend to think if you make all things even, and trust in your final product, you'll get the viewers and the storylines will take care of

I was really sorry to see Donovan GIbb cut so early, he was one of my favs during the auditions, but his solo just wasn't that great this time around. I think he shot himself in the foot by trying hip hop again instead of going with his contemporary training to mix it up. I hope he comes back next year because he's
