No, I agree that casting is the most nebulous aspect of the show. It's tough to pen down, you never know if it'll go the way you want it to, but I do think a lot could be said about them just trusting themselves on that one instead of assuming they're incapable of casting interesting people and falling back on

That's a good point. I do feel, however, that an entire crop of new faces divided amongst 3 tribes would do the job assuming they casted properly. Do you agree?

How very fitting that Carter's final act would be to vote wrong again? He's so special. I mean that in the "Maybe you should keep your helmet on a little longer, sweety" kind of way.

lol your statement that this is the first time you've really thought about Klaus so much makes me feel weird. Am I the only person who's always seen these potential depths to the character? I've always viewed him as something of a goldmine. Or at least I have since sometime after his initial introduction as a pure

I think that's a very realistic tact to take on this, I just don't believe that it's as entertaining, for me at least because I love the version of Klaus that would negate some of that. Not all of it, granted, but the part of him that could be redeemed maybe by his love of Caroline, or lacking that, just a storyline

I can get that to an extent. I've never really felt that he "had to keep them daggered" to keep them close. I've always felt like that was the well the show kept sending him back to without much reasoning. I've always felt like the distance he felt from his family was something that Klaus kind of invented in his own

I am seriously having the hardest time reconciling the reviews (which are always spot on and I love that we get to experience Glee with you, Nowalk) and the grades which hardly ever seem to reflect what you're really saying about the episode. I'm settling for the explanation that you're just a gentle grader, so if you

That is pretty simple. Although when I say simple, I kind of mean simple minded in the manner that it makes no sense whatsoever. You keep saying "it" as if a personal pronoun is capable of carrying meaning without first being assigned a noun to take the place of.

"an invincible bully who sits around drawing pictures of horses just isn’t compelling in the long haul." On this point, we are in totally agreement, though I think the manner in which I'd go about rectifying the problem might differ slightly from yours. Just get rid of the bully/villain aspect of him all together.

That was horrible. Way more horrible than a B-, but I digress. Maybe it was because last week was so good, but this episode fell so far and landed so hard that I needed dental records to identify it. It wasn't just Arrow falling back into some of its bad habits, it was Arrow wallowing in the lesser parts of its nature

So basically fairly even across the board give or take a different idea of "correct" and what not. The wrong plays stick out more forcefully I guess, as in James who no one could ever forget and Ozzy's South Pacific mishap also sticks out for me. I maintain, however, that I wouldn't lose any sleep if they did away
