I had the same issue. At the time, I even rated it lower than most people did I think, but in hind sight, knowing this is how they want the show to go, it changes the outlook.

Thank god Alasdair is getting Arrow. If I had to read anymore of Erik Adams' crap like in the pilot review, I don't know if I could have taken it.

Not a fan, personally. She's totally freakin beautiful, and I want Nolan to be happy, but I want him to find some nice boy and be happy that way. I love the idea of a legit bisexual guy on TV since I feel like the bisexuals get no kind of representation, but Nolan is just so freakin gay. lol

I wish to start a band and name it "Feelings-n-Shit."

I for one was totally invested in Jack and Amanda! Either invested or uninterested, I always get those two confused….

I don't disagree with that in principal, but I do think there was *something* he could have done. "You only gave me back 2/3 of what you took from me; I'm only giving you 2/3 of what I acquired for you. Deal with it." I think his actions left himself and his crew with NO power whatsoever when he could have made some

The manner in which they killed off Louis was very impressive I thought. As much as I wanted Dex to kill the little annoyance, I knew he didn't meet the criteria for a kill, so allowing him to be taken out like this, but still being tied to Dex with the blood spatter on the boat,  is a lot of fun. I also enjoyed

Rich house rob victim = dead guy on boat in the first episode open?

I wasn't disappointed by the lack of conflict in this episode. I was expected Astrid to find something alarming on the tapes as she kept working on them, and the fact that she didn't was something I found to be pleasantly surprising. I think taking the time to build up on its emotional throughline is just as important

Personally, I like the stuff on the sub, but I don't want them to continuously have to fall back on their either. I agree about kicking up the stakes, but I feel that way for a different reason; namely, I think the captain is starting to look like a pussy. I get his point perfectly that he can't really fight a war on
