I shrieked  with joy twice this episode. Once when Pam and Tara made out. And once when Bill dissolved. The last one was then quickly followed by a chant of "Please don't fuck it up, please don't fuck it up!" and then of course they fucked it up. But still. I have such a love hate relationship with this show and this

Fuck Walt! I want him dead for the first time in 5 seasons!

First, I agree that it was a lack of sexual appeal that left him out, but mostly I'm kind of surprised that people really enjoyed his performance. I mean his solo was really AMAZING, but his jazz number was really rather bad to me. It was danced well, but I really didn't feel connected to his performance at all.

I'm not sure I see your point with these saved contestants. Neil is the only one on the list that really makes sense to me as he ended up in the top 3 and thusly had a more realistic opportunity to win. All of the others you mention make up the same point that I think @avclub-5d546b1b257d62c86b63a948f21fab5c:disqus

I'm just happy to see her back to actually offering "therapy" again!

That was one of the things (one of many) that shocked me. How the hell could he not see what his words were doing to this woman and think "hm maybe I should stop talking now!" I mean between the "I was surprised at how beautiful you were" line and the "I thought they'd have some of these in a bigger size, but I guess

I guess in the end it all just comes down to perception (as all things do). I thought Ven was being showcased as a "Better-than-thou" dick from the first episode. The only difference was that he typically did it in that confessional style "Just me and the camera" sort of way instead of being in the work room saying

Yeah I'm going to agree with @Violina23:disqus on this one, that's not an editing issue. He said those things, there's no context in which he could have said those things that would make them any less villainous, and his clients were crying. I know reality show editing can do a lot to enforce a certain perception, but

Yeah I knew Nathan was a goner for sure, but I was really hopeful that Hedi's "One or more" statement wouldn't be for naught. I was hoping they'd see Ven as the one way monkey he is and combined with how horrible he was this episode just say, "We have no desire to have you on our show any longer!" Or if not that, then

I honestly don't see how. lol I mean I'm surprised that Gunnar and Elena weren't also horrible, but I wasn't surprised at all at Ven's treatment of his client. I was appalled by it, sure, but Ven's been saying horrible things all season and struggling to showcase any kind of real human emotion, of course when he has
