First, I agree that it was a lack of sexual appeal that left him out, but mostly I'm kind of surprised that people really enjoyed his performance. I mean his solo was really AMAZING, but his jazz number was really rather bad to me. It was danced well, but I really didn't feel connected to his performance at all.

I'm not sure I see your point with these saved contestants. Neil is the only one on the list that really makes sense to me as he ended up in the top 3 and thusly had a more realistic opportunity to win.
