The beating storylines thing I will agree with. It does get old quick, but the other element of that is 1) you're watching the same hour block replayed over and over of sports center all day long. They then get their other shows in the mix and you'll get a segment there, but with different people espousing different

Wow I simply couldn't disagree with you more.

" NBC’s coverage gets so bad at points that I find myself wishing to a merciful god for coverage in the ESPN vein. That is the lowest of the low."

I'm off from work today, so I've got the chance to watch their daytime coverage. It's really so very much better than their primetime coverage I feel. I just watched the entire Women's Water Polo match of the US vs. Spain, and it was amazing! I've fallen in love with a new sport, and I'm totally pissed off that there

I do agree that these characters and their banter back and forth is *one* of the things that sets this show apart, but I think the main thing that elevates Alphas is it's continued realism. The fact that these powers have limits, and consequences, and are constantly tired to the real world in some fashion is what

Try watching the scene again. There's a shot of SWAT guys moving in behind Eli and Rosen as well. And as soon as the shot is fired and Dani and Eli fall, Ben looks to the guys back there to demand who fired. The question I have is was did the shot come from inside the church, or was it like some kind of sniper shot?

"If the show misses a trick with Eli, it’s that I never really got the
sense that this was actually a 22-year-old in an older man’s body, but
that’s mostly a quibble."

Does the fact that he shouldn't have been there excuse the fact that he tanked the lead Phelps helped to get them? Personally, I don't really buy into or care about the Phelps V. Lochte storyline. They're both Americans, they're both amazing swimmers. I root for both of them. So I don't feel the need to apologize for

Sorry Donna, but Phelps didn't screw up the relay. Ryan screwed up the relay, Phelps screwed up on the  medley.

Nope, just never pay attention to the "what's on tonight" articles. I only checked out this one because I was checking to see if I was up to date on Web Therapy episodes or not.
