Classic example of the Pizzolatto anti-hype machine in effect. If that was even a 'dig' on Fukunaga, it was as mild as they come. Certain critics blew it way out of proportion because Nic is a terrible, terrible man, don't you see!

So far, each episode has been better than the last. I really liked tonight's installment a lot. Now that I've seen what the critics saw beforehand, I really feel a lot of them were too down on it.
Not saying this is on the same level as The Wire, but , The Wire didn't feel all that rewarding after two episodes either.
And the 'community grades' continue to come in! Why are those open now, again?
This is what you care about. Not TV shows, but reactions to TV shows..
Even if Fargo was better, I'd feel immature uttering that original comment on a school playground. It's just stupid. I care whether TD is a good show, what difference does it make if it's better/worse than Fargo? We can all watch both. They don't even occupy the same time slot, though even that hardly matters…
How does fanboy crap like this have 32 upvotes?
Could you be any more childish about these TV show wars? Why would Fargo make TD look silly? They weren't even similar. True Detective didn't try to ruin anything. That is absurd. Everybody was just supposed to lay down for Breaking Bad?
What does Hannibal have to do with this?
Oh, to know what foul words were running through Selina's mind, when she saw that Tom had prepared a special freaking pancake batter for that one dude.
You just blew my mind. Thank you for that tip on the late night showing!
He was a dreadful stand-up. But, he does do great impressions, he threw those in and that's how he got by, I think.
Most people in the Internet TV punditry echo chamber , maybe. But we are not the majority. Ratings were booming in the era where Brody was overstaying his welcome.
They conflict with the fact that Brody is dead. Everything that you said applied 10x as much to him.
"Showtime of course would never have the balls to kill off someone that would make an impact in the show"
I guess if you think that will be a typical episode going forward. Don't know why you would, though.
Quinn was right, it was a strategic strike. Haqqani just wanted to get the list and get out.
There is already fallout from the car explosions. Haqqani is going to try and take the Embassy while they are undermanned due to the explosion.
Dar Adal is in U.S. Javadi is in Iran. Chris Brody, oh he'll show up. When we least expect him.
Carrie did at least fake-stay-on-the-phone for a little bit after Khan had hung up and returned to the group.
