Yes, please. This show seemed so great and relevant when I was a dumb little kid watching it but now it's such a bizarre window into 1980's culture.
Every season's DS episodes are bizarre. Bicycle repairman molesters, an appearance by Nancy Reagan, hitchhiking in New York City (!?!) and being kidnapped, accidentally sending a remote control airplane into the Russian embassy and almost starting WWIII, etc.

I didn't watch the clip because I despise Hodgman, but there isn't a "public bailout" as that phrase is currently used. It's a community of individuals choosing to come together and help out a man who needs their aid. The government never plays any role in saving George Bailey.
