While I loved being able to follow despite the lack of subtitles for French in previous episodes, I felt the pain this week. I gleaned about half, but wish there was a translation available.

This is how I felt. I get what they were trying for but it didn't land for me at all. She was too goofy. I wish she'd instead lent more gravity and intentional levity, coming from actual sensitivity.

Watching that clip from Fresh Prince made me cry. Damn, that was powerful.

TV watching really taps into my over-arching fears of commitment.

I kinda liked it, but I may just be partial to handsome Turkish diplomats attempting American accents. It's no Southland, but I'm one of two people who actually misses  Chicago Code, and is looking for something similar.
