While I agree on the awesomeness of Achilles Last Stand, there is no way it gets played 4th or 5th on any airplay list that currently exists. At least not higher than:

He killed the Halfhand, a pretty legendary crow, and got his freak on with Ygritte. I buy that as enough to allay suspicion for awhile. I believe Mance Rayder is waiting for a signal from Jon's party/the warg guy's eagle. Then they attack.
Kinda surprised nobody's really mentioned Bolton's jumping ship with allowing Jaime to return to King's Landing as opposed to returning him to Robb. That seems to be a pretty huge development (and another bad sign for Robb). Looks like Bolton wants to get in good with the Lannisters once this war is over.
2)The Karstarks were one of the major houses, so that's probably why. I'm sure the Tullys and Boltons account for a large part of the other half.
I liked that they made Ygritte smart enough to figure out that Jon was undercover the whole time. She was also smart enough to get what she wanted by sleeping with him and having it be a breaking of his vows, thereby "proving" his loyalty to Mance Rayder and the wildlings.
Agreed. She did look lovely. I still think it was an intended slight by Bolton though.
" Arya gets more warrior training. This week, arrow-shooting."
Was it really that far fetched? All you had to do was think of living people that share Baratheon blood per Melisandre's conversation with Stannis right before leaving Dragonstone.
He was Clooney-ing it.
I can picture a Ros montage set to Sarah McLachlan "I Will Remember You" background music. I can't believe HBO CEO of Tits signed off on this.
He's the Saul Goodman of Westeros.
This.
I really wish they'd give him a name already, just so he can stop being referred to as "Simon from Misfits."
It worked for me, just because this show has been willing to off just about anybody that I could have seen Ygritte biting it. So the tension seemed legit.
@avclub-d0cf409eb912cc0cc950b41b6d892d07:disqus I think the implication is there because it's how she birthed the original smoke monster baby. By boning Stannis. I like Gendry, hopefully that's all he has to do too. In that case, I'm jealous. If on the other hand, he has to be sacrificed, then not so much.
Also, does anyone really know how he would have taken Sansa out of King's Landing? Like, does he really believe nobody would have figured that out? I wonder what his grand designs for that whole scenario were. Maybe win Cat's affection by bringing one of her daughters back? Grateful widow sex?
"Keen-eyed viewers like myself might spot the banner in Roose Bolton’s chambers later on in the episode"
I think if they'd shown the Frey daughter he was due to marry, we'd probably have a little more sympathy for Robb in this case.
I liked that too, it would have been nice to have Arya just tell them she wants to handle them herself. After all, she did whisper their names each night before bed. How satisfying is revenge if it's not delivered personally?
Gotta love the really serious blowjobs. I can imagine the urgency there. That girl must have been working hard.
