Surprising number of Slipknot fans here…

So, uh, anyone else click on this assuming it would be about a new concept album by the band, Behemoth? I came here to applaud their bold new direction after hitting the zenith of the whole Satan-demons-apocalypse thing with The Satanist.

Saw a line somewhere that was pretty good: "Cory Booker seems like he was carefully constructed in a laboratory for the specific purpose of losing the 2020 election"

Fuck it, the Season 4 Is A God Damn Masterpiece Club forms right here. Who's with me?!

YES! AV Club is based in fucking Chicago. There is no excuse for having so little diversity, in terms of both the performers themselves and the styles they play.

Maybe we could compromise and have Brody Dalle play Spider-Man in the next movie.

Did we ever!

Speaking of Street Sharks and fucked up nostalgia, there was an interesting piece awhile back (possibly featured in GJI?) about a prankster that made up a bunch of fake episode summaries for teh lulz, but then ostensible authorities like IMDB and tv.com picked them up as authentic:

This list rules.

Are we human, or are we orange chicken?

There was a Newswire a year or two ago that said that the publisher had a special set up for GRRM that would almost literally make it so when "he puts down his pen and then it's off to the presses". Which does not bode well for the quality of the final product…
