And not to spoil too much, but it's not like it literally all takes place on a train.

I did that, then I read the article, then I went on Amazon and accidentally typed "we came as romans" into the search bar anyways.

…..oh my god this is perfect

That's Academy Award-Winning hack Akiva Goldsman to you!

Makes my panties drop
Makes my cherry pop

True, and it's terrible. Physical media forever!

I think a certain, abundant species of American Evangelical didn't take too kindly to the whole "other Gospels" bit, or any sort of implication that Jesus got laid.

I read The Da Vinci Code when I was in college and it was an amusing enough page turner if that's all you're after. The National Treasure comparison is pretty apt.

I've never read Digital Fortress but I once saw this dialogue excerpt, which has remained seared into my retinas ever since:

Actually the Shepitko one was on the Eclipse series. As long as they have them already transferred/mastered/etc. I don't understand why they don't have at least a low-feature standalone release of every movie they've got… maybe it's some weird rights issue.

A lot of their box sets contain movies that they also do a standalone release for - Bergman, Olivier, there's a compilation of all the Zatoichi movies now - but I guess I don't really see that as "double-dipping". I mean they also do those "Essential Arthouse" releases that have few/no special features: it's just

Rush - "Cygnus X-1 Book II Hemispheres: Prelude/Apollo Bringer of Wisdom/Dion"
Metric - "Sick Muse"
Nirvana - "Radio Friendly Unit Shifter"
John Coltrane - "A Love Supreme, Part IV-Psalm"
Nightwish - "Scaretale"
Raekwon - "Ice Cream"
Vaura - "Braced for Collapse"
Shonen Knife - "Birthday"
Witness 9 - "Beautiful Failure"

I liked Alyson Hanigan's summer camp story better

Hell of a Björk deep cut there

I worship your car.

I didn't recognize it either until I saw the OP - I have no idea if that was supposed to be intentional, or why……

100 years from now, a scholar writes, "We can only speculate what delights were to be found in Sandler's lost masterpiece, The Ridiculous Six, destroyed in a fit of childish pique, forever depriving the world of a key entry in the oeuvre one of cinema's most legendary, enduring icons."

And the main characters from Dumb and Dumber are HARRY and LLOYD holy crap we are through the looking glass here people.

I hope she plays Varg.

And losing present talent. Calvin Johnson, Patrick Willis, Anthony Davis, they've lost some Pro-Bowl and Hall-of-Fame level talent the last few years in no small part because of the risk of CTE and repeated concussions. They lost a lot of top talent in a short span, there are more truly shit teams than ever, and
