The characters can't know it for sure, but the plot mechanics pretty much require that you actually get bitten by a zombie to get the fatal style infection.   If you had to protect yourself from contact with zombie gore, they'd all be dead.   (Several characters have covered themselves in gore, and T-Dog had an open

A bunch of thoughts:

1) I think Andrea's reactions are entirely believable.   She's a (relative) bad-ass who watched her sister die, was abandoned by her group, and knows she will probably die by zombie in the next year or two no matter what she does.  Both the idea of living someplace safe and bone zoning a hot guy

I didn't have a problem with the post-monetary utopia.   Yes, it's not clear how in a few decades, they got from Harvey Mudd to their utopia or even how it works (if I want a space station, can I just have one?).

The contestants usually intentionally misspell names or do drawings/embellishment on their votes.   I think the point is that if you survive, you may want to prove to the other contestants which vote was yours, or maybe they're not confident that they can recognize their own handwriting by torchlight and want to count

It's not a terrible idea for Lisa to go to final three with Denise and Malcolm.   Unless one of them outright throws the vote and concedes to the other, there's a chance they split the vote and Lisa pulls enough to come in first.   Of course, her biggest problem is that by flip-flopping, she may have alienated most of

Well, if she makes it to final 4 with the evil 3, then Lisa has a chance to play the immunity challenge for a million dollars.   (Basically, if she wins that challenge, she wins it all).   Or if she can convince Artis and Abi to knock Pete out because he's the mastermind and will win the jury and Pete doesn't win

IMHO, it's just a figure of speech, like when people say "Obama killed Bin Laden/cut unemployment/issued a regulation increasing CAFE" when it's really Seal member Jimmy or secretary of transportation so and so.

I thought game show winnings were subject to a 50% gambling tax.

Total spending isn't the issue.   The point is that the CDC's MIB and X-Files division was closed as a result of Bush administration penny-pinching, together with two tragic misunderstandings propagated by Faux News.

First, ET was an UNDOCUMENTED alien and totally deserved to get chased around, so don't go

Noel writes: "Levinson and Wallach do have strong points to make with The Bay,
not just about the extremist outcome of environmental neglect, but about
how the past decade-plus of “starve the beast” anti-government policies
have left the United States unprepared for the inevitable. Now that’s
some real horror."

Moulin Rouge is one of my all time favorite movies.   I give it a 10/10, which means I can't think of any way to make it better and still have it be what it is.
