Nick Kroll is great as Gil Faizon, but John Mulaney as George St. Geegland is like a national treasure.

I had no idea, that's awesome!

I know the entire cast in Fargo deserves heaps of praise, but how great was Cristin Millioti this season? I'd only seen her in How I Met Your Mother prior to this, and while she was good in that, her role as Betsy Solverson was revelatory. Can we just put her on all the TV shows now?

Persona 5 and Zero Escape 3 as your most anticipated of 2016? You're alright Apple Merchant. Can't argue with the Life is Strange and Undertale choices. I actually just finished Tales From the Borderlands the other day and enjoyed it a lot. A Telltale game with an emphasis on humor was a nice change of pace. But my

It was really daunting at first, but now that I'm start to learn the mechanics of the game I'm enjoying it a lot. Exploring that gigantic world is so satisfying.

I'm deeply entrenched in JRPGs at the moment. Playing Xenoblade Chronicles X on Wii U, Rogue Galaxy on PS4, and I bought Lightning Returns on Steam earlier today. I grew up on the genre, so apparently I've returned to my childhood days of playing games.

One of my favorite things about Nathan for You is how it works on so many levels and seamlessly jumps around with its core goals. There's Nathan for You the comedy (obviously it's a hilarious show), Nathan for You the social commentary, and Nathan for You the character study of a fictionalized host and his constant

I feel Just Cause 3 is a poor tutor in the sense that it doesn't teach players how to use its mechanics to cause destruction in fun and creative ways. Sure, the player freedom is there, but the game's hands-off approach when it comes to things like learning to use the grapple hook or tethering items together causes

When I played through the game, I killed every enemy I came across because it felt weird not getting EXP after saving one. My many years of playing RPGs had ingrained the need for more EXP, more leveling up. Then Sans tells you that EXP stands for Execution Points… at that point I honestly felt bad. It forced me to

Well, I didn't think the entire Gerhardt family would be killed off before the season finale. There's a certain confidence behind a decision like that considering how integral they were to the plot for most of the season.

I found Hahnzee to be a sympathetic figure in this episode too, but then he shot Ted Danson. You don't shoot Ted Danson!

That Wilco album was a nice surprise, happy to see it on this list even though it wasn't one of my favorites. Here's my personal top 5:

Wow, Brendan forgave Nathan for the urine collection. That's true friendship folks.

Yeah, I often avoid DLC, but the expansions this year have been largely great. There are the two you mentioned, The Taken King which made Destiny a much better game, the extra Plague Knight campaign in Shovel Knight, The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth, etc. All quality content.

The new weapons in the DLC are awesome. I fell in love with the Boom Hammer, but then I found the Whirligig Saw and immediately changed to that. Now I have the Moonlight Sword and want to put points into arcane so I can wield it. They all look so cool, how am I supposed to decide?!

This was my first year listening to every episode weekly, and I have no idea how fans pick a favorite each year. I will say Thomas Middleditch is the 2015 MVP though. The entire Kid Detectives segment, Joey Tortellini, and the call from China are classic CBB moments.

Yeah, I feel the same way. I enjoy watching it on the ol' DVR every week, but it doesn't do much to inspire analysis or careful thought on my part. I mostly get a kick out of seeing how well the celebrity guests gel with the format.

I'm going to try to wrap up Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition this weekend. Played some of the game last year on PC and enjoyed it a lot, but the improvements to the Enhanced Edition make it one of my favorite games of 2015. Nearly 70 hours later and I'm still having a blast with the combat, it rewards

I don't think that cameraman anticipated he'd be filming orgies when he signed up for Nathan for You.

Bob yelling "fuck, shit!" after his pleas in the Shark Kitchen sketch was the best. I don't think I'll ever get tired of him screaming expletives.
