Probably one of the worst episodes they have produced. Poor writing, hammy direction, painful editing.
The Polynesians are offered cheap educations at BYU-Hawaii in exchange for work at the Polynesian Cultural Center, also owned by the LDS church. Huge tourist thing
There's a ten minute sex scene (not to mention many other shorter ones), that involved molded fake vaginas to prevent it from being actual hard core. I am no fan of the MPAA, but they got this one right.

Never noticed license plates in the Toronto scenes, but saw the Minnesota plates in the Cosima ones. Not that they weren't Ontario, I just don't recall seeing them.
They haven't perfected lasik in the next 250,000 years?

SOMEWHAT SPOILERISH AHEAD
The Macbeth i produced back in college ended up with Macbeth getting a mild concussion when he hit his head on a beam during an entrance, macduff being stabbed in the thigh by a prop sword that hadn't been filed down yet, two witches fighting over Duncan, I wen through tech week with walking pneumonia and the show…
A Canadian band Pilate (later renamed Pilot Speed) did a cover of it I really enjoy.

Any love for the re-imagining of "Santa baby" by Rev Run & the Christmas All Stars? Or too coverish?
