Why are you guys arguing about a Talking Heads song?

I like it!

Yes, Doctor Handsome is correct. And seeing Jenna is a state of lust, like she was with Jack, is never ever ever a bad thing.

Even if you think it sucked (you're 100% wrong, by the way), you at least have to admit it took on issues that other television shows wouldn't dream about. Unless Lie to Me has an episode dealing with the male gaze, nature vs. nurture and the loss of identity in an increasingly technological world that I haven't seen.

I don't care that in came out in 1999
The only correct version of this list is:

"I have to…shoot hoops. With…the brothers."
"Byron, what are hoops?"

A third cry for Playmakers. Not even Entourage could match its "soap opera for MEN" standards, and I mean that in the best way possible.

Nostalgia
I love this list. The first thing the AV Club posted that seriously altered my view on pop culture was it's list of great/intriguing TV shows canceled after one season. I've got a collection of most of the DVDs mentioned on that list, and am a big fan of many mentioned here. This isn't a comment so much on

Oh shit, Kings! How the fuck did I forget Kings? Throw that up there too.

(ZMF excluded)

I'm always ready to commit to an order. Also, I'm not sure it's fair to include mini-series, simply because they're trying to do different things then a TV show.

Saw him at Bonnaroo
He wouldn't have been funny even I had been high. Seriously, this guy is an asshole. And not the funny type of asshole. The "people with different accents are fun to laugh at!" type of asshole.

It's light, and that's exactly why you should cover it
TV is such wide spectrum, it's not an accurate depiction of pop culture to only look at Mad Men and Better Off Ted (both of which are amazing). You guys definitely get a lot of the big stuff, like AI and ANTM, but a show like Castle is neatly in the middle- not a

The Thoroughbred of Sin?

TCA?
Not so fast about the "I'm sure he's a nice guy" thing, Steve. Apparently he was a total dick to the critics at the TCA, who were dicks in response. Don't abandon the Brotherhood of Critics when they need you most!

Miss Guided
That show didn't get enough love. One of those situations where it's too smart for dumb people and a dumb name keeps away smart people. Unfortunately, this new name sounds just as bad, although hopefully Greer is just as good (I like to imagine I'm the only one in America watching, and we're sharing a

Man, women are totally this one way. But men! Men are like, totally this other way.

Greg is not an alien.
Maybe it's a one-note sketch, but I'm sorry. That will always make me laugh.

The idea of the show sounds semi-interesting, but Nick Kroll is one of the worst stand-ups I have even seen, so count me out. Seriously, the guy has a bit about how Hispanic people talk different. Cutting edge!

"5 minutes later"
Was I the only one who got angry when Dmitri said, "She told me she had no vision, and 5 minutes later she was dead."? SHE TOLD YOU THAT WHEN YOU MET IN THE MORNING AND SHE DIED AT NIGHT.
