The first parameter in that querystring really needs to be preceded by a ?, not an &.

I think Miracleman is his best, most disturbing work. I love a lot of his stuff but he peaked early for me.

Also, it bugs me because Gibbons probably needs the money a lot more than Moore does.

Much cooler answer than my stupid joke deserved!

Ask him if you can adapt Promethea. Tell him Sean Connery will be involved.

I like Moore but you do have to accept that a certain amount of grumpiness is part of his charm. Also a fair amount of rape.

For what it's worth, I think this review undersells the album. If you like Borders you'll like at least some of this. I even find that it flows pretty well.

That's true in many cases (and obviously with Miss Cleo). But I've met a couple people who believed it and they weren't making any money from it. They were crazy, but still.

I don't believe in psychics. But I do think there's an ethical difference between someone who actually believes they are one, and a scripted, staffed phone bank of people who know they're just scamming.

As a reformed Calvinist, you should know it's been predestined to end up this way since before the beginning of time. It's to God's glory.

I know everyone here hates Reagan. But he's a barrel of laughs compared to most Republican presidents.

Can this guy just be permanent?

I liked some of the earlier stories but honestly, it was just too bleak and violent for me for most of it's run. And some of those arcs lasted forever.

I liked the white FF and Spidey suits. Not sure if that's a popular opinion or not. Also, Moon Knight.

When I saw The Invention of Lying, I thought there was some sympathy under Gervais' invention of religion, in spite of the fact that he obviously found it absurd, given the context in the film. But seeing his real-life comments on it, it's pretty much ruined the movie for me.

I found it VERY arousing.

I think it's a combination of 1) having directed very few really bad films, 2) directing at least 2-3 all time classics and 3) starring in a chunk of great films he didn't direct. I mean, most directors don't direct one great film. I think he's passed the bar for "great" a while back.

I just had this experience with Paul Fieg's Spy. It's a very funny, pretty good movie. But if it were 30 minutes shorter, it would have been about 30% better. And I say that as someone who generally doesn't mind Apatowian excess.

Man, this is a great comment. Almost as good as the article.

He'll be the first one off the plane, even if he's not sure where he's landed.
