I am a programmer. I follow a bunch of other programmers and learn a lot. When I tried using it for comedy or following friends, it sucked.

I am self-employed and have to deal with the IRA every year. With one exception, they've always been unfailingly polite and helpful. I feel sort of bad for IRA employees because I know they get bagged on constantly.

Best new feature on the site (though it's not that new anymore…). Always a lot of good discussion too.

This might be a stupid question, but if those signals had existed ever since we started monitoring such things, wouldn't we assume they WERE natural signals?

Most of the people decrying children on here either sound like misanthropes or extremely selfish. There is almost nothing you can do that is more unselfish than raising a child, if you actually attend to their needs. They will suss out areas selfishness where you didn't even know you had any.
