I know it's hardly a controversial opinion but Season 3 as a whole is the strongest. Very little filler.

Definitely power through. I feel that season 4 is the weakest (although most people say 6 or 7) but it does have some great episodes.
I'll honestly say that Buffy is one of the only shows that I've watched every episode multiple timesand it's always rewarding. Even weaker Buffy is better than 90% of other tv.
